Replacement of Outdated GOST-Standard Safety Valves with Modern API 526-Compliant LESER Valves
We are thrilled to announce that ., as Puva Construction and Engineering company, we successfully carried out a major upgrade project by replacing outdated Russian GOST-standard safety valves with modern LESER safety valves that fully comply with API 526 standards.
This modernization enhances plant safety, reliability, and international compliance — setting a new benchmark for operational excellence at SOCAR “Azerkimya” PU.
1️⃣ As a first step, a comprehensive inspection and technical evaluation were conducted on the previously installed safety valves at the SOCAR “Azerkimya” site. Precise measurements were taken to ensure full compatibility.
2️⃣ Based on the findings, detailed dimensional surveys were carried out at 14 specific positions using advanced “Laser Survey” equipment for high-accuracy data collection
3️⃣ Following the assessment and evaluation, the previously installed Ghost-standard safety valves were successfully replaced with LESER-brand safety valves, fully compliant with the API 526 standard.
